More information:

It has been a challenging year for everyone, and you have surely faced your own hurdles in your personal and professional life. Sometimes, taking a deep breath and looking forward with optimism simply isn't enough to leave it all behind and start the new year with a clean slate. That is when you need something special to truly put this year's hardships behind you.

Throughout our entire New Year's celebration program series, we will entertain you and your companions for three days for New Year's Eve with music and dance events and folk art performances, and you can also participate in an authentic rural pig-slaughtering feast, where fine Hungarian pálinka is, of course, a must.

The third event in this program series is our fantastic, all-day program on January 2, to which the entire family is warmly welcome. Admission is discounted for children under 10!

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

In the morning, the traditional rural pig-slaughtering feast gets underway right away, and its host, the colorful and highly experienced man considered by most of us to be the finest master of ceremonies in the region, Zsigmond Gyönyörű, will wake up our dear guests. For breakfast, divine pan-fried blood with onions will await those just waking up. Naturally, the work – which our hotel guests are welcome to join – does not end here, as pork cracklings, sausages, and traditional liver and blood sausages will be roasting all day long.

Meanwhile, in the morning, we will entertain the audience with Gypsy music, and not just any kind, as Zoltán Tordai, an artist awarded the Hungarian Silver Cross of Merit, who is one of Hungary's most famous lead violinists, and his band will be playing our dear guests' favorite tunes. In the afternoon, the Bürkös Band will provide the tunes for dancing, should you feel like breaking into a dance to unwind amidst all the "hard work". Helping with this will be the world-famous Hajdú Dance Ensemble of Debrecen, who are sure to get everyone in the mood for a twirl or two. And if all this weren't enough, our heavenly house pálinka will ensure the continued great atmosphere!
